Horizon Actuarial Data Breach: Victims exceed 1M

Since the Horizon data breach was discovered five months ago, the number of Horizon Actuarial Services customers and individuals affected by the attack has increased significantly.

As of today, over 1 million records have been stolen including:

  • Full names
  • Dates of birth
  • Social Security Numbers
  • Health plan information including beneficiaries and family members

What Should You Do if you are a Victim?

Horizon Actuarial provides technical and actuarial consulting services for many union benefit plans in the United States, and this data breach has affected dozens of its institutional clients, including:

  • SAG-AFTRA  (SAG-Producers Pension Plan and the AFTRA Retirement Fund)
  • Major League Baseball Players Benefit Plan
  • National Hockey League Players Association Health and Benefits Fund
